It will be interesting to see how this copper ages and weathers. Wasn't the cladding that was added to Charles MGH similar to this? Because that seems to have developed a nice patina.

I walked past this tonight and was wondering what on earth they were thinking with the massive light on top. Ugly as sin and completely out of place in the skyline.

This was an interesting read. There is definitely a gulf between architects and the general public, which goes largely unaddressed by the design world. The fact is that once you start to appreciate modern architecture, there really is no going back. At that moment you see the world differently...
