Idyl Fenway | 60 Kilmarnock St | Fenway

Great location, probably one of the best little restaurant rows in all of Boston.

I feel like this is the millennial project of this boom cycle in Boston... I remember it as one of the first truly impressive proposals back in 2017, and now it's wrapping things up as the boom ends.

I do like the project as well but they could have done a better job with the colors. All gray is a bit boring and depressing.

It's wild that I'm typing this - since I generally do not like gray on buildings, but, I kind of like how it contrasts with its surrounding buildings - both the traditional brick and contemporary midrise buildings.

The solid gray coloring is pretty much limited to the north facing side (alley side). The other sides are primarily clad in brick. Today I took a bunch of street-level pics. This building will be a great addition to the Fenway neighborhood.

Lastly, moderators, it appears that this building has come out as Idyl Fenway (www.idylfenway.com). Perhaps we can update the thread title.

Wow. I haven't been following this one in a while, it's massive! It's amazing how easy it is to overlook the size of some of these parcels when they're one-story buildings. I used to walk by this garage on Queensbury all the time, but never really appreciated the scale of the lot, and seeing the above images made me do a double take. I remember my same reaction when the Viridian and whatever-the-other-one-is went up on the McDonalds and BK lots, respectively.
