Overall I like how the varied massing gives the impression that this is a cluster of buildings, and the Miami tower will grow on me. That said, the low rise with the white string courses is awful, just pure uninspired schlock, like the designer lost a bet.

This sticks out even from Berkley and Columbus at the top of the south end which is cool. I like the white, maybe just for being different.

The white looks good to me. It looks...white. Most white buildings here look off white or have a crappy texture. I think this looks real good and all of the different parts work well together including the surrounding buildings.

This is the first time I've wandered into this thread and I'm pleasantly surprised. This looks like a good project overall and the white tower appears to be well executed. Offset window alignments could be hit or miss but it works well here, IMO. The gingerbread house icing on the short buildings are a bit much, but that may be about it.

I was a hater until I saw it in person, just passed on the train and I like it. The white is cool, it sort of reminds me of a pristine lavatory, or a futurized MGH building, or something out of Clockwork Orange.

I don't think that low rise portion with the white trim is part of this project. But agreed, I really like how this came out. It's not a stunner but its certainly not bad either.

It is part of LightView.

Give it a winter or two......

.

I think this looks great, they really did the stepped back stepped up massing well here. The brick portions look especially good. The white part also looks much better than the usual dull crappy stuff as well.

So I was biking past last night and noticed this... Don't remember it in any of the planning docs but its actually pretty neat... Looks like they're still installing it obviously but I hope they plan on making them in a pattern or something less random...

The white is cool, but can architects stop with the offset windows?

Gonna be interesting how they keep the white clean (cynical me: they wont).
