Marriott Moxy Hotel | 240 Tremont Street (Parcel P-7A) | Theater District

Wow thanks :) good to see my question was appreciated

Whoops - totally, what Henry Alan said. I was replying to Jahvon, misclicked on my phone (another argument for a mobile friendly site).

So, it looks like the back wall isn't completely "blank", some windows and whatever hose fin things are. Definitely looking better than a few weeks ago.

Okay, that strange back wall just got more acceptable. I actually like the fins and the textural effect.

Moxy is such a cool addition to the city! She's both beautiful and funky!

This looks really good from the intersection of Tremont and Stuart. Small lot but they pulled off something decent. I wish the ground floor was a bit better activated but that side of the street is kind of dead anyways.

^ Theres a video screen coming soon to that black square which should help some with activation. Also renders up at the site seem to show the ground floor area and moxy sign will be illuminated with a pink neon light glow.

Fills in a streetwall and skyline gap too!

That OOH display is fantastic, and the pink neon signage is a winner too. This building successfully pulls of quirky in a way The W’s branding teams wish their building next door could have done.

I spy a Joyner Lucas electronic billboard on the W, nice. E-billboards everywhere!! Hopefully more to come in this area.

Bostons really becoming somethin.. The moxy isnt the tipping point lol, but everywhere you look now is something awesome.

Seeing the lit Moxy sign at night from the Common is very cool. Can't wait to try the rooftop bar!

Its too bad they shot down the screen at hub on causeway. It would have been cool to play playoff games on it so thousands of fans would not only be inside but outside too and for away games giving the fans a place to gather outside for celtics or bruins games.

That aligned with a pedestrianized Canal St would have been amazing.

on topic, the moxy is great. Too bad Kneeland is such a shitshow of a street. Riding on kneeland is one of the worst experiences in the city.

I love that they already have Dunkin digital ads up before the building is even open.
