Sort of the opposite of infill development, but the old Clements Textile building is coming down slowly but surely. These pictures are across a month or so.
That's for real. The viaduct will be extended as part of the Green Line Extension. The tracks come down to grade somewhere between this building and Brick Bottom.

Anyway, I think this points toward a redevelopment at 306 Stuart. I bet they'll sell the existing building and developers will take it down for something taller.
Just FYI, they are not "uncovering" the facade. The area covered with sheeting has no facade. They are peeling back the sheeting as they install new panels.

Agreed. I always found it strange that Boston was broken up by neighborhood and most of Cambridge was lumped together in one thread with the exception of a few individual projects.
You'd need a close-up to see it, but between the windows there is this corrugated material that IMO looks terrible. Reminds me of cheap aluminum louvers seen on old HVAC units.

Software engineer here. I agree with you. Sounds like they have either faulty data (lack of sensors or unreliable sensors) or faulty algorithms. Both are solvable problems.
