I wasn't asking for it in 6 months or to close the airport for any construction. But 4 years seems a little long to me for an above ground parking garage even in the middle of an operating airport.

I have not been myself but reports are it is not the same (same business but not the "same" as it was in the old location) with much higher prices and minimal, unhelpful staff. YMMV. I have fond memories (actually it was a PITA) of my mom taking me shoe shopping at the old Barn in the 80s...
This! I don't understand why the steps are ever closed during the day. Are we trying to encourage people to linger in Downtown Crossing or just walk through on their way to somewhere else?
Apparently I am the only one in Greater Boston who would only take this flight if they ran it in the winter months to ski in BC. Vancouver and BC is beautiful in the summer but so is much of New England. Are these all Alaska cruise ship passengers? If not, are there really that many summer...
