Survey crew outside South Station on Atlantic Avenue this morning. Could it be for South Station Tower? Who the hell knows.

Is Boylston St the in Back Bay being redone? Looks like they have removed some trees, are prepping for a wider north-side sidewalk in places (?) and are generally out reconstructing things?

Is that just for the Marathon Bombing Memorial?

771 Harrison has been undergoing renovations for some time, judging by how long it's taken other church conversions I wouldn't hold my breath.

The bump outs on Boylston st are for the 2 bombing memorial sites, which are taking way too long. I think they're just about ready- they were missing the bronze/glass poles for months now

They city is FINALLY fixing the sidewalk so that it's not all of those "tiles" that constantly break and aren't maintained properly.

Looks like on Boylston between Fairfield and Exeter, they're creating a flat/level cement strip that the city can be responsible for. Beyond that, it appears that the property owners will be in charge of maintaining anything else. Basically a good safety measure.

In addition, it coincides with the Marathon memorials.

From what I understand (which is limited), Parcel H will be a condo building slated to start after the nearby MassMutual (10 fan Pier; Parcel E) building is completed or substantially completed... so, starting sometime in 2021 I assume.

On the Cambridge side of the Longfellow rebuild, on the immediate west side of the bridge, there is a small park area with a grassy trench that is supposed to have water (or appears to, since there is a pipe system connecting them), but is still empty, other than a little water and mud in the first section. Is there a known issue with this or is something still being waited on? It has never been filled with water since they finished the project.

Edit: To answer my own question -- it's supposed to be that way (the water filters underneath as a natural wetlands). Before today, I always walked by it in the same direction (east). Today for the first time, I happened to walk by in the other direction, and noticed a second info display that I never noticed before because it faced the other direction. This info display explains the natural wetlands filtering process. Sorry for the confusion.

More survey equipment at South Station this morning. This time on the Summer St. side. Not going to bump the South Station Tower thread but... Maybe?

What ever became of
SST Phase 1,
1 Bromfield,
Harbor Garage,
40 Trinity,
Back Bay Station,
Lobster Tower,
Washington Village,
88 Seaport,
7 Channel Ctr,
Valenti Square,
104 Canal,
& 55 India, by God?

picture: all of them already up or rising!

Is there anything unusual about 88 Seaport? it seems to be waiting on a tenant, and as the final office plot left in Seaport Square, that probably won't take long. Has anything heard anything about the residential buildings (L3, L5, N, G)?

What ever became of

SST Phase 1,

Most recent article I could find mentioning SST is this BisNow article from March.

1 Bromfield,

Can't find anything since 2016 when the developers were sent back to the drawing board.

Harbor Garage,

As of May of 2018, zoning changed allowing the project. Hasn't been any news on an updated proposal or its approval process since.

40 Trinity,

Recently secured financing.

Back Bay Station,

The only recent story I could find is this BisNow one having to do with DOT's decision to close the Clarendon on-ramp, which may allow for broader developments.

Lobster Tower,

No news since the aforementioned rezoning of the waterfront.

Washington Village,

No news since Samuels joined the project last September.

88 Seaport,

Received mention in BisNow's update on Amazon's new Boston office, but nothing newsworthy.

Valenti Square,

Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but BPDA has started a design contest to design a park for the parcel.

Everything I skipped has literally no news that I could find.

Thanks.
re; Valenti Square: i was referring to 88 N. Washington, the 13 story, 68 key boutique hotel.

Even as a YIMBY, I thought 1 Bromfield was a fucking insult. That one needed serious revision.
