Detroit has always fascinated me. I can't even tell you how many hours I've spent on Detroit UrbEx sites.

They promise to have original news only; no AP or Boston Globe rehashes.

They have some heavy hitters in Worcester: Natalie Jacobsen, Bob Lobel, and the ubiquitous Scott Van Voorhis. Also ... Tim Cahill and Matt Amorello?

No word yet on a http://golocalboston.com. Well, someone owns the domain name but not the same people, apparently.

I know the "Stupid Shit People Post On Facebook" blogs are overdone but this one has a special place in heart.

You can get rolls, but I haven't seen anything dedicated to them in Boston. There are a few tiffin-wallahs who can arrange homecooked delivered Indian food for you, including decent rolls, but they come and go.

There isn't anything like Indian street food in Boston that I've experienced.
 
It just never floated my boat for some reason. Plus, if slumming it with you Harvard guys I'd usually end up at the Bombay Club when it was open. Pity it is gone; Tamarind with its basement views doesn't do it.
 
Damn, I would have never thought a place called "Pronti" in Needham served Indian food...
 
I'll give it a try, thanks! Needham has a great Indian Restaurant-Masala Art. Run by the folks who owned Bombay Club in Cambridge.
