Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Norwegian is supposedly facing some financial problems, and could possibly face bankruptcy in the near future. They have a 737 max stuck in Iran and have had issues due to the Gatwick drone incident.

I hope they survive though. They have been great for the trans Atlantic market.

Looks like Frontier is making their return to Logan.

Non-stop flights to Raleigh/Durham begin May 1 and will operate 4 times a week.

It looks like daily Boston-Orlando flight is loaded too.

The website also has Denver and Reno-Tahoe as selectable from Logan Airport but nothing is loaded. Lets see if these two happen as well.

So which terminal will the Frontier gates be located? Or is that, TBA?

Would be nice to see some more competition on the Denver route even with United, JetBlue and Southwest already flying it. It's not easy to find a reasonable return fare from DEN->BOS if you don't want the red eye.

Interesting that they're going with Raleigh/Durham. That's more of a business destination than a leisure one.

Though Spirit has Florida covered, so I guess the Raleigh doesn't have as much competition.

Spirit is launching non-stop flights to Raleigh/Durham from Boston. Flights begin May 2. It will be a single daily flight.

Yeah, I think they dropped it around the time of the laptop ban.

Yeah, they were running 2x daily up to that point. Boston was one of a bunch of US destinations that saw reduced frequency as a result.

Talked to a Jet Blue flight attendant and he said they will definitely be flying Boston London this year, though I've been hearing this for the past several years. I guess time will tell but he said it was a definite.

I am not saying it won't happen (tons of rumors), but flight attendants are not always the most reliable sources of information at an airline.

EK used to have 3x dailies to JFK and now those are just 2x now. Perhaps the cut backs happened across the board...
