Marriott Moxy Hotel | 240 Tremont Street (Parcel P-7A) | Theater District

Ha. I naively thought the screen was going to be used basically as a marquee for the Colonial and other nearby theaters. Oh sweet summer child.

I love everything about the Moxy! It's the perfect building for the theatre district...from it's street presence, to it's large video screens, to it's glass curtain wall, to the very colorful, absolutely fun totally-unBoston patterned back wall. This girl's a winner!

Still working on the fire damaged area.

Maybe they had to special order the replacement panels.

Thank you for sharing @theurbanupdates Stickn move... thats actually my account and that where I will funnel all of my photos when I travel to the city! Anybody has full permission to share any photo they like! I try to take photos of any development whenever I can get a good shot in.

I really love the site maximization they accomplished.

Everyone always notes the significant cantilever over the sidewalk on Stuart Street. But there is another more subtle trick, a gentle cantilever of the Tremont Street wall as well (it is at a gentle angle the comes out over the sidewalk as well as it rises.)

I read somewhere the roof deck will be for hotel guests only. Do they even like money?
