In Hudson Yards (Related) / Manhattan West (Brookfield), a 1br runs anywhere from $4400-5500 a month. On the lower end, you have The Ohm and Abington House and on the higher end you have 1 Hudson Yards and The Eugene. The Eugene is barely noticeable in the cluster of supertalls, but at 720 ft, it would be the 4th tallest in Boston.

Condo prices are really high, even for NYC, IMO. Not sure about 1 br, but 2 br are $6-7M and 3br are over $10M. My beef with the condo prices is that there are no comps for miles aside from the wacky 10 story starchitect condo buildings along the Highline, like the Hadid building.

What's the rent like in Hudson Yards or cost to buy a 1bd?

Land is so expensive that condo buildings going up on the UWS and UES are in the 60-floor size and elsewhere in midtown, everything proposed is supertall, in the 1,500 ft tall / billionaire category.

What I am seeing is a rapid buildup of NoMad. There are a couple of 50 and 60 floor condo buildings going up. Since there is nothing tall in the area, the condos have incredible views in all directions.

Does NYC have 2000ft tower by 2030? Getting a lot of 1300-1500 ft tall towers but eventually someone is gonna push the envelope.

The Spiral, across the street from the Related property, designed by BIG is a complex puzzle being put together. A lot of the steel comes to the site on flat beds as pre-fabricated sections.



1 Manhattan West. I love the sloping side and the curved glass. 65 floors and 995 feet tall.

Next up for Hudson Yards is 450 11th ave. Only 487 ft tall too... just goes to show how powerful a proper aspect ratio can be.

Neat-o. I do wonder how a tower that short and skinny is profitable, but it's Hudson Yards, so they'll just be disgustingly expensive I suppose.
