Strange that the top picture shows an extended park instead of the future residential...

They do that just to show their specific tower. They did it in the residential buildings renders too by leaving out this tower. Its just to show the different sides without being blocked.

This is solid and handsome. One thing: wish the gridded roof mechanical section was a continuation of the facade glass instead. The grid is too different. Instead of the entire building reading as a single whole it reads as a building with a grid on top.

I don't totally agree. I think it look awkward for this box to have a glass chimney like that. Also, they could theoretically light the grid section and end up with something much more striking.

did anyone see the article in B&T the other day that mentioned Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is taking a strong look at this...would be a big time tenant

You just took pictures of a construction site, so I'd say it's under construction.

Edit: I see what you were getting at now. This thread needs a construction status icon.

So all these buildings down on Fan Pier have fairly deep basements (not sure if thats what you call it, but that), some looked to be 2 to 3 floors deep. So do they all have serious pumps as a sump system, and if so where does is drain? Right back into the ocean thats is flooding?
