“A nonprofit group's apparent interest in potentially building a 13,000-seat soccer stadium on land near the junction of I-495 and Rte. 9 in Southborough was well-received by residents and visitors who spoke to the Daily News on Saturday.”

“The concept includes a stadium to host professional and semi-professional soccer games, primarily for women, and would include a wellness center, educational classrooms, public art and performance spaces, indoor training and lockers and adjacent competition/training fields.”

The organization is mum on details, but plans call for a 13,000-seat soccer stadium in which women and girls of all ages will have priority. The facility would also incorporate a wellness center, educational classrooms, public art and performance spaces, indoor training and lockers and adjacent competition/training fields, according to the organization.

Probably not for the Revs. But I like it. Many of the turfs women play on now are unsafe. This point was made with the Women's World Cup team a few years back. I'm on board.

Yea its not for the revs. Sounds like a great addition though with all of the facilities, 13,000 seats is huge too.
