Helps me understand Downtown Crossing a little better (although I think it leaves out one of the escalators that connects directly to a street?) but the State complex still baffles me .....

It looks like there is no good reason the North Station subway and commuter rail lack an indoor pedestrian connection.

There is: I believe the name is Delaware North?

I thought South Station was even more confusing. Doesn't the highways go underground right next to it?

It goes crosses the Red Line from below. They had to build an underground 'bridge' to support the subway tunnel.
