    The Bredas do feel a bit unstable even at moderate speeds - more hunting motion than is comfortable IMO on the Riverside Branch.

    That's not true in every case - though - a lot of one-way street systems were built as highways for travel from white-flight suburbs to the amenities and opportunities of historic downtowns.     I don't think tenements (nor contemporary allbrick or concrete buildings really care much for access like we typically think of in stick construction.

    There's a lot of good that is coming about right now at the T when it comes to connecting the dots - they frequently use "soon" to mean actually immediately after a shutdown. This one was a miss.

    Long ago I used to take the 75 that ran non-stop up Fresh Pond parkway - that was such a weird situation. I forgot about that!

    The T should really stop using "soon" or "major step toward" in their pressers - it's misleading at best and distrusting at worst for a skeptical public.
