Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Yes of course, licensed service and therapy dogs should be exempt. They really aren't contributing to the problems I cite anyway. 95% of dogs you see around Boston don't fall into that category, though!

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Yes, it's an unfortunate trend. We need more kids in cities and fewer dogs. Lots of things that are popular have negative externalities (cars! motorcycles! guns!) that should be regulated accordingly! I'm not saying we need to ban dogs from the city, but they impose a cost on society at large...

Seaport Neighborhood - Infill and Discussion

Widespread dog ownership imposes huge negative externalities in dense urban areas, and it's frankly a little baffling to me that there seems to be very little effort politically or otherwise in Boston to address that. It should be very expensive to register and own a dog in a city. With the...

I used to go to that CVS all the time, and thought all the asphalt space on that lot was a terrible waste of land. So glad this project is finally getting close to underway!

Photo of the Day, Providence Style

Some random photos during a recent work trip to Providence. Lovely city. Several of the downtown streets could use a major road diet. The highway and mall are pretty awful in terms of pedestrian connectivity from downtown westward :/ Shout out to Reprise and Little City for some great coffee...

Industrial National Trust (Superman Building) | Downtown | Providence

Had a recent work trip to Providence and took a couple photos of this stunner. So sad it remains vacant!

Harvard Enterprise Research Campus | 100 Western Avenue | Allston

Checked out Ama at the Atlas last night (quite good!) and took the opportunity to explore the development a bit. There's a new Phin Coffeehouse that will be opening soon there as well. (Their current location is downtown near South Station.) A fair amount still fenced off, including what looks...
