Amtrak Downeaster in trouble?
The problem with the Downester is that it doesn't go fast enough. The trip time from Boston to Portland should not exceed 1 hour. Anything slower like it is now will not generate enough ridership. The current 2 1/2 hour trip time is way too long. It is only 100 miles from Portland to...- BigRock

Whatever they do, it needs to be in a tunnel. The tunnel needs to stay underground, going UNDER the MassPike, and then coming to the surface.- BigRock
