Yep 59 Bow is going up. Also - I forgot the developer for this project (guy in the video above) the Vidal Sassoon heir, Elan. His buildings are a nice addition to Union. Now I just hope he can get the retail leased.

The developer says that he’s taken it to heart that people don’t want it to look like the seaport. Pretty laughable. His rendering is about as Seaport as you can get.

Good for them to keep their house. I think it will be a more interesting urban/architectural outcome because of that too. Kind of like the old car mechanic hut thing in Union Sq.
Yeah I was wondering too about those rusted metal beams and corrugated panels dripping rusty water onto the sidewalks below. However I do actually like the glossy black tile. They really committed on the bold materials.
