They do have a series of 3rd rail circuits, so they were able to isolate the Braintree line, or portions of it, while allowing the rest of the Red Line to run. I'm not familiar with the particular locations of the high voltage circuits.

There is surely no plan to let infrastructure work hold up the vehicle procurement. If these upgrades affect the car delivery dates, then something is not going to plan. It all has to happen in parallel.

Maybe I saw something more powerful and disruptive than yours. I see some lights that are strobe-ish, but this one was CRAZY bright. That's nice of them to warn against using certain modes after dark.
