I'll take a plaza and a pedestrian access between two streets any day. This city needs more room for people because cars take up so much damn space. It also allows for more windows for building occupants.

If parking is that important to them then they can provide it for themselves or move to the suburbs where it is abundant. The answer isn't to not build desperately needed housing because some crybaby car drivers like free parking.

The most visited place in Boston is Faneuil Hall. Its not a street. Thats part of its appeal. The same could be said of city squares all over the world. Streets are hostile to people.

I live near Franklin Park and go there often. My #1 concern is parking. By that I mean they better not build more of it by cutting down trees, paving over fields, etc. Franklin Park should be the place Bostonians go to in order to escape cars, noise, etc. Keep it as a park, not a parking lot.

There should be bollards all over the city. Even city councilors are driving onto sidewalks and into buildings. I'll take whatever protection I can get from the terrible drivers and the awful people who park on sidewalks.

To be fair, Millenium over delivered in San Fransisco. They threw in a tilt on the tower for free!

I saw a test train this morning. Dunno if that counts in the 11 or not.

14 parking spaces for a 7 unit building that is 1 block from a T station. WTF. Ditch the parking and add a couple more units at least.
