Very curious what the plan for this site could be.
I guess I'm in the minority here, but I don't mind the design. It's not my favorite but I'm not upset about it. Also, they said they took inspiration from lighthouses... That doesn't mean the building is actually supposed to look like a lighthouse, which is good, because that would be pretty corny.
I wouldn't put too much stock into reactions on social media, PPH comments, or the Portland subreddit. I don't think I've ever seen a positive reaction to any proposal in those places.
That said, I quite like the design and I hope they are able to get it built.
I think so. I'm not sure what they do on Washington Ave but I think they want to consolidate all the administrative stuff to the main site on Veranda.\
