That's good. They hit a snag with the foundation I believe and needed to do some repairs which slowed everything down.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I don't mind the design. It's not my favorite but I'm not upset about it. Also, they said they took inspiration from lighthouses... That doesn't mean the building is actually supposed to look like a lighthouse, which is good, because that would be pretty corny.

Went by today, seemed like they might be doing some work on the base of the new pier.

Took this yesterday by Monte's out on Washington.

I wouldn't put too much stock into reactions on social media, PPH comments, or the Portland subreddit. I don't think I've ever seen a positive reaction to any proposal in those places. That said, I quite like the design and I hope they are able to get it built.

It's two different buildings, 89 Elm isn't next to the garage, but the other building is. (60 Elm?)

This lot was recently rezoned to TOD-1, not sure what the height limits would be.

I think so. I'm not sure what they do on Washington Ave but I think they want to consolidate all the administrative stuff to the main site on Veranda.\ In other news, I noticed the recently closed Dunkin Donuts lot at Woodfords corner is for sale...

Drove past yesterday morning, the pier building was about half demolished.
