That is a nice catch! They actually reported that leasing went from 33% to 42% probably between q4 2016 and q1 2017 so that people would think there's more progress and they have momentum...sneaky
I think it is Phase 1 so Super Market, Movie Theater, probably some other restaurants and such. There's also I think a couple hundred thousand sf of 'creative' office space which I've heard nothing about. There was an uptick since last quarter but I saw nothing announced.
I think the 500k...
Re: 111 Federal St. | Formerly Trans National Place (Winthrop Square) Part 2
I wonder if Millennium will get extra scrutiny locally due to their problems in San Francisco. I really can't think of a bigger reputation killer for a developer than something like this...it is pretty unreal and...
Re: General Electric HQ | 244-284 A Street | Fort Point
Lots of marketing and style...I am going to wait for the substance...just look at the track record. ecomagination right before the fracking revolution, healthymagination...lets go big in oil and gas at 120 a barrel...you would be killing...
Re: General Electric HQ | 244-284 A Street | Fort Point
I think you may be overestimating the importance of the GE Headquarter building...It's not like Fairfield became this mecca of business after GE rolled in. It is a big win on the prestige and branding side of the house for mass but this...
a bit harsh in my opinion...BP does some fantastic work. Atlantic Wharf being example number 1. The hub at Causeway has the potential to spectacular for that area. Their Kendall projects and the back bay station redo are pretty daring. Some people may not like their design work but they do...

way off man...Aetna and its peers have done exceptionally well since obamacare...it has been a boon and basically returned 400%+....remind me not to get financial advice from you!
sorry for the unrelated to boston arch post. I do not think an insurance company would put their hq in kendall...
That would make a lot of sense. They took a hard look at BP's Causeway Project, a build to suit in Kendall with the same developer might have been the counter proposal after they said publicly they would stay in Cambridge. Looks like BP moved this Project up so they clearly are in advanced...
Well - I think it is a two part question. I would bet very very few born and raised Bostonians with the means to afford that would actually rent it at that rate vs buying an asset. The second part is that with the elite schools and hospitals, Boston attracks for short term periods some of the...
Re: Parcel 9 - The Greenway
These renderings are pretty cheap so lets hope they are saving the cash for higher quality materials. The massing here could be better...I think they are taking the 'human scale' thing to heart in the middle of a dense city in a non-residential area.
Re: Whiskey Priest/Atlantic Beer Garden Redevelopment | 150 Seaport Blvd | Seaport
young attractive women congregating in the seaport at an increasing rate...hmmm I can deduct that rich older men will follow in greater numbers...I am now even more bullish that real estate prices in the seaport...
It's possible we've had a thread for this before, but I couldn't find it. Design documents are up for Boston Properties' Cambridge Center Expansion:
