Hope I didn't come across critical of your post. Your post is spot on. I used to be a regular traveler through South Station, but it has been a couple of years now. Is the passenger concourse any better now than it was then? The management company was clearly mailing it in when I passed through.

Which is why I asked "I wonder how the management company responsible for South Station is handling this?"

As noted in the MBTA Construction Projects thread, major construction work is slated to start soon on the renovation of Back Bay station. Has the MBTA announced where the commuter rail fare gates will be set up?

And there's no timeline in place yet to replace the Bourne Bridge. Double ouch.

MassDOT's January 20th "Recreation Open House" presentation now shows a date of 2037 for completion of the new Sagamore bridges. I also see the CapeFLYER Bourne station will be relocated closer to the Gallo Ice Arena to accommodate the new Bourne bridges.
