MIT New 450-bed Residence Hall | 121 Vassar St. | Cambridge

I have mixed feelings about this design. In its favor, I think it does attempt to evoke and extend the massing of the adjacent Metropolitan Warehouse in a linear and somewhat complementary way. The design reminds me of another building by this architect, One Santa Fe in LA...

Re: Skanska Fenway Project (Burger King) | 1350 Boylston Street | Fenway I noticed today that heavy duty construction equipment has been brought on site.

The Harlo (née Skanska Fenway Project (Burger King))| 1350 Boylston Street | Fenway

Re: Skanska Fenway Project (Burger King) | 1350 Boylston Street | Fenway I'm glad this building was approved. Based on the artist's rendering, I think this is a good design. Although there was concern about the height, this is an urban environment which calls for some density and...

Fenway Center (One Kenmore) | Turnpike Parcel 7, Beacon Street | Fenway

Whether or not this project ever takes place, which seems increasingly unlikely, I think it needs some serious re-design. It looks too much like a suburban office park.
