This is also getting started with the demolition of the old Table Talk pie factory. Some construction activity on the gas station as well. There is a payday loan/ cashing type of shack at the corner on Madison Street which appears to be a holdout.

As ctsketch mentioned on the small development thread, the store on Green street will remain and the building will be integrated.

Its been about a year since my last visit to see a game and was very impressed on the transformation of this area. The Tabletalk factory is just about gone which gives the streetscape a clean, fresh new look. There are a few new buildings, still under construction, across from Madison st which is making it feel like a real neighborhood compare to the blight of years past. The sidewalks are new, well lit, and interspersed with trees. Its really developing nicely. I only took one crappy pic, should have taken time to get the full view of the area.

yes it is turning into a real neighborhood. I hope these developements bring in a grocery store, pharmacy and some additional retail shopping.

FYI, the building permit for Table Talk Lofts was approved, so they should be getting started building vs destroying soon

What's the master plan regarding the old table talk pie store / building? It seems that the building is pretty much dilapidated ... don't know why they didn't raze that as well.

It’s hilarious that that check cashing shack is the lone hold out. Wonder if they just didn’t want to sell unless it was for some ridiculous price.

Great to have a lot of parking, but that garage facing Madison Street won’t help create a lively streetscape.

Other than that, wow this is a big project for affordable housing in a great location.
