Northeastern respectfully submits this IMPNF and asks that the BPDA Board approve the 2013
IMP for an additional two-year term, waiving further review in accordance with Sections 80D-
5.2(e) and 80D-6 of the Code. The requested two-year renewal will enable Northeastern
University to complete the review and approval for its Third Amendment under its current IMP
prior to seeking a new 10-year IMP. Such approval would fulfill Northeastern’s obligation to build
1,000 new student beds under its existing IMP. Following approval of the Third Amendment to
the IMP for the mixed-use building at 840 Columbus Avenue, and prior to the expiration of the
two-year renewal period, a full 10-year IMP will be prepared and submitted.
