To be clear, this is from the website, which also lists Block 7. Given the recent comments on the FRIT call, we can assume this is on-hold.

I like that its housing. I don't mind the bland block,
Wait… they replaced the short stack of books with an Everett mono-block?
I dont mind the Everett Mono block - its traditional (ish) urbanism with recurring forms and a street wall. I like that its housing. Does seem like there could be a tower (or two!) with additional density as part of this block. Theres few neighbors here and its right near the T and other similarly massed blocks in this development have tower components.

300+ Units Approved For Next Phase of Assembly Row

“Approval has been won for a primarily residential building on Block 9 at Assembly Row. The building would include 318 residential units, 20% of which will be affordable, ground-floor retail, and a daycare. The site is currently being used as a temporary surface parking lot servicing Assembly Row, with the redevelopment to mark the next milestone in the development and rebirth of the Assembly Square.”
