Slow progress on the residential at the corner of Bow St Place.
Hopefully it'll include ground floor retail. There's bunch of businesses there currently including Ebi Sushi and Urban Axes. Would be a shame if it turns into a lobby, a parking garage entrance, and a bank.![]()

When you walk by this place, the close-up of the rusted metal looks even worse with water splatters everywhere. Does not seem very appealing to would-be residents IMO.View attachment 70911
84 Prospect.
Yeah I was wondering too about those rusted metal beams and corrugated panels dripping rusty water onto the sidewalks below. However I do actually like the glossy black tile. They really committed on the bold materials. When you walk by this place, the close-up of the rusted metal looks even worse with water splatters everywhere. I live closest to Davis, and the hollowing out of "Davis Square Plaza," and its tenants to accommodate the now evidently abandoned 7th Spoke project is a major shame. The largely vacant plaza and Starbucks don't help the square feeling significantly more "dead" from a retail perspective than it was pre-pandemic recently - there's ~10 smaller retail slots there, 7 of which are vacant. It wouldn't take too much for Asana to activate it for pop-ups, short leases like Bow - a bunch of tables in the plaza, a remnant Equivalent in the former sugidama or starbucks spaces. if they don't have plans to move 7th spoke forward, I definitely agree at least some short term activation would be appreciated.Wish we could cut and paste this into Davis Square where the Starbucks was.
