exterior looks kinda like the waterline tower in Austin
That one in Austin is hideous, IMO, but I really like this One Harbor Shore Drive development.
Any idea what's going to fill all that cultural space, talk about prime real estate!!I will take the brave stand and say that I really like this building, and that the main issue, as for everything in Seaport, is that it should be taller than it is to really fill out its proportions.
The ground levels are going to be all or mostly glass, which will house restaurant space and the cultural/non-profit space. Should have great light and killer views to the water. Filling in a hole on the waterfront is also good, and expanding/connecting the waterfront park there is also great. They are going to really struggle to sell these units, but that's less of an issue than just building the damn thing and generating some real revenue for the city.

I think a multimedia exhibit on the evolution of the South Boston Waterfront to the Seaport District would be an interesting, illuminating use of the cultural space, if only as the first use.Any idea what's going to fill all that cultural space, talk about prime real estate!!
I will note its a bigger cultural space than that particular floorplan depicts, since it also occupies the entire second floor.Any idea what's going to fill all that cultural space, talk about prime real estate!!
I hope the mech wall turns out as good as the rest of the building.
Looks like it's going to be open as opposed to a wall. At least at the outer edges.I hope the mech wall turns out as good as the rest of the building.
