222 Friend St | Bulfinch Triangle

What exactly are the mechanicals that need to be on the ground floor? These take up half the street level along Friend St. Jeez a lot of buildings do this, and it makes the street level experience a lot worse.

Looks like it would block that really cool Old Gahden mural, but I'm gonna be ok with that giving the city 216 more apartments at North Station!


So strange to say this, but the lab crisis is humanizing and urbanizing the city. Don't get me wrong, I root for human progress, but there is definitely an urbanizing silver lining to the lab crisis cloud.

I agree. If the lab scene makes a comeback or when offices are in demand again, housing is the city's biggest priority (or if there's a need for hotels or civic space).
