Another boutique hotel is coming to Newport. It will be built across from the International Tennis Hall of Fame on the property that had a shopping plaza once anchored by an Almacs Supermarket. It follows similar type hotels such as the Brenton , Hammetts Wharf, and Vanderbilt (conversion) which have opened in the downtown in the last fifteen years.

It looks great. That surface lot/shopping center right there is very anti-urban. This will be big upgrade, even for those of us who probably can't afford a night there.
