The air ducts on this are massive. I thought this was purely office space.
Agree with @stick n move ; this building's case is even further compounded by the fact that there's actually a large three-story open span under the overhang on the right side of the tower in my image that's completely filled in with scaffolding now, but will be open when they're doneOne thing ill point out is theres always an awkward phase when the cladding is only partially finished. When it first goes on its exciting to see what the cladding looks like, but then it starts just repeating over and over without much changing until you get to some set backs or finally the crown. Right now its the worst its ever gonna look where its not even topped out and only partially clad. After it tops out and as the cladding climbs further and further revealing more of the final form it will look better and will slowly reveal what its going to look like when finished.
Theres been soooooo many times where people (including myself) look at a building thats half clad and go hmm this isnt looking so great, then once its finished say this actually turned out better than I thought. Tale as old as time. Not saying this is going to be a home run or not, just that it will look better than it does now as the cladding climbs further up until finished.
Some friends at Biogen signed the final beam late last week. I think most of the Cambridge employees did. It's probably a ceremony for that - LinkedIn will probably have the pictures soon lolThey’re setting up a tent for some sort of function on the site.
Looks like they are racing to get that façade buttoned up to allow interior construction throughout the winter.
