    Worst Completed Development Nominations

My bad, although it does look like a hideous glass high rise that will ruin the view of the Hancock/200 Claredon. Part of the reason why the John Hancock Tower looks so good is because it dominates the area it's in.

    Worst Completed Development Nominations

Raffles hotel. Completely ruins the view of the Hancock Tower. https://www.luxuryboston.com/Raffles-Residences-and-Hotel

I was really looking forward to this project, I'm so disappointed now.

Massachusetts State Flag (we need a better state flag)

Metacomet and Massasoit were the Sachems of the Massachusett and the Wampanoag, where do you think the name "Massachusetts" came from? If it weren't for the peace treaty Massasoit made with the Plymouth and Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1620, the colony would have likely been abandoned.

Massachusetts State Flag (we need a better state flag)

If there is a flag redesign it should definitely still incorporate symbolism for the Massachusett. Metacomet is in the current flag. Metacomet or Massasoit should be represented on the flag, because they're important figures in the start of Massachusett. I know the flag right now comes off as...

    Downtown Natick Mixed-Use Development

This lot has been vacant for 5 years, and has now been approved: https://www.wbjournal.com/article/housing-complex-with-54-units-approved-at-former-natick-school The developers waited so long because their initial attempt to change zoning laws 4/5 years ago got voted down. They found some sort...

A set of lectures on the destruction of the West End.

How many people lived in the West End before they destroyed it? Where did they relocate the residents?

    Boston Skyline Photos

Imagine how different it will look from the harbor once Bulfinch Crossing, South Station Tower, the Alcott, and the Harbor Garage Tower are finished.

Pinnacle at Central Wharf (Harbor Garage) | 70 East India Row | Waterfront | Downtown

When I'm older I'm going to lobby the FAA to raise the height limits in the city. Toronto's airport is close to downtown Toronto and they have structures upwards of 2000 ft.

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

They do have a point... Boston is slowly becoming a more transient soulless city every time one of these luxury skyscrapers gets built... Not to mention 80% of the Millennium Tower is occupied by people who don't live in it as their main residencies.

What is the Alcott? Is it the tower in the west end behind the TD Garden? I can't find any proposals for it.

Packard Crossing Phase II | 45-55 Brighton Ave | Allston

Better than a giant surface lot or parking garage

Do they at least put the parking underground? Or hide it?

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Anybody know why the South Bay Tower was in there in the first place? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Bay_Tower It says the proposal was renewed in 2016. I can't find anything on this tower on Curbed or anything, just some shitty renderings. What's the potential for this site?
