    Please stop.

I've had him on ignore for years, along with our resident tall building fetishist. F-Line - it will lower your blood pressure.

MBTA Commuter Rail (Operations, Keolis, & Short Term)

I always assumed that if you told people which platform in advance, they would all go wait there and get in the way of passengers disembarking.

I don't believe any of the steel viaduct will remain. New structure will start at the end of the stone viaduct.

You don't need to grade separate D to solve the problem there, you just have to deprioritize vehicle capacity on D. There is no reason that signal couldn't operate with a low minimum green time on D Street and trip the signal for the transit way with an advance detector. Would it be as good as...

    Eliminate the River Roads?

Conceptually I like your idea, but where are you going to find capacity in ANY mode of transportation to replace the 82,000 car trips per day that are happening on Storrow east of the interchange?

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

I believe the piers to the left side of the photos (that do not yet have steel on them) are the Medford branch. The bridge that curves up and then left is the flying split towards Union. The branch to the right will go to the yard.

Suffolk Downs Redevelopment | East Boston

Not developing this with thousands of units of density would be a serious loss for the region. Any place where we can find rapid transit accessible parcels should have as much housing as possible to help catch up with the housing crisis. It can't all be downtown because that will never be...

You can terminate a car phase very easily, but a longish crosswalk means you have to wait to clear the pedestrians out. That particular crosswalk doesn't look like the most important one in the design, so they probably figure they can cut it out and let the signal be more flexible in getting...

General MBTA Topics (Multi Modal, Budget, MassDOT)

This is all rebutted by one obvious fact that they are very intentionally ignoring: their mile denominator in Mass is very skewed by the fact that we have an unusually low percentage of State roads. Most other states (NH and ME certainly included) have a higher percentage of overall roads under...
