Bunch of trees right next to benches along the GSA per that photo montage earlier - on a rainy day. No I don't have photos. It's barely shade-seeking weather and the trees just finished filling out. And the weather has been generally shit the past few weeks. I'd gladly go read a book over there.

This is missing literally all of the trees they planted. There's 100 new ones in the plaza redo, and all the existing ones near GC T stop and Congress St. They provide nice shade.

Yeah I see that. But this looks larger? The scale of that in old renderings doesn't match this.

Would probably end up being more expensive. Doing a selective demo like that would be logistically difficult (think of crane/machine access to areas with existing structure in the way). The number of custom façade fittings would balloon exponentially having to deal with sealing around those...

The lack of any kind of shading structure is a huge miss.

He's shooting from over in Eastie, probably somewhere around here. Foreshortening at that distance + a zoom lens will produce this effect (not shopped).

Maybe an internal collapse? Seems wild to install the full thing (with it clearly matching the same stone color/type as the rest of the entry) then decide to swap it out. That sort of design decision should've/would've been done earlier through physical or digital mockups.
