Building this proposal or one like it is how we start the path toward modifying the area. The Town won't pre-emptively fix or alter the pedestrian experience when currently there aren't (m)any pedestrians. But drop in some housing, and the conversation will start to change.

Yep, was going to point that out, too. And the 2nd highest is Clarendon or Metropolitan Hill (more common use, but Clarendon is correct) in Roslindale. I'm pretty sure there are a few other hills in south western parts of the city that are also higher than the hills in Brighton.

And what used to be there actually wasn't that great. The facade was highly over-rated in my opinion, and the structure itself was cheaply made and poorly maintained.
