    Rose Kennedy Greenway

I think the fountain has set a record for longest operating fountain in Boston without a year+ shutdown.

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

My mistake. I was reading the median and the unpaved road as the part of the property. Don't get old, kids.

Bulfinch Crossing | Congress Street Garage | West End

I could be completely misreading the photos but the street is much narrower that what was there before?

Holocaust Museum Boston | 125 Tremont Street | Downtown

To be clear, I don't think the current building is anything special or needs to be preserved, I just wish it was being replaced with something better. The new building, imho, is not better.

Holocaust Museum Boston | 125 Tremont Street | Downtown

I get the argument against faux-historicism and I get that the architect wants the building to be somewhat jarring, but this still feels like a downgrade (architecturally - the use is an upgrade.)

A surprisingly interesting video about suburban greenfield development. A lot of information in it but my big take away is that suburban developments are apparently getting denser? (Not actually dense of course, but denser)

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

I also like how the arch gaps line up with the wall gaps. That said, they would both be improved by being seamless.

    Areas for a nice stroll

I'll recommend Portsmouth, NH. Not much in the way of nature walks but the shopping and restaurants are fantastic. If you do go to Salem, I would recommend spending some time in Rockport as well. Cape Ann has lots of nice areas to explore. Also Ogunquit, ME is great but very busy in the...

Can someone from Salem explain how this enormous landscaper storage facility got built on prime waterfront property? I'm guessing it went something like this: Land owner: "We'd like to put some luxury condos on this prime waterfront property." NIMBYs: "Are you nuts?!! This city is already over...
