Those extra 20something CAF type 9s aren't going to provide enough peak hour support that there won't be some wonky B to Government Center except sometimes Park? Or even better having the C turn at Government Center just a few minutes before a couple of late Northside commuter rail trains...
I'd suppose that the T's not going to name a future station there after the street crossing/potential overpass - Park St, Part Deux? :P It also feels like the T's new GLX stations are being named after the neighborhood rather than streets or other features, keeping in line with that, it brings...
We need a decent neighborhood name for this strip of development along Somerville Ave between Wilson Square and Union Square. Maybe, Central Somerville Ave., Wil-U district (Wilson-Union)?
That being said, this makes me recall so much the La Ronga baked goods. :\
But why? It's not a particularly long distance over the canal.
I do wonder if we would ever go Dutch and build a water-overpass instead of a water-underpass.
Route 2 had been renumbered westbound from Alewife to Westminster. Eastbound was missing for most of the ride back.
Now that I've actually seen the signage set-up, the old exit number signs in yellow on the advance exit signs is kind of annoyingly placed away from where you would normally look.
Given the development pressure, it feels like the home depot big box lot is ripe for further development/redevelopment. That Home Depot is so busy, but it's wild that they haven't been able to find a tenant for the Circuit City.
That district court building (note: not municipal - but named for the city that its supposed to serve - and functionally part of the Commonwealth's "county" AG districts) has always felt like the 1960s trying to keep its mark on the landscape.
I suppose it's better than the Cambridge district...
Here I am imagining if the developers bought their way out of inclusive zoning requirements with in-lieu payments. Could you imagine this development being partially affordable?
"Could of" is understood by native and fluent English speakers; as a non-prescriptivist grammarian, I don't even bat an eyelash.
However, the use of ellipses on the internet to replace commas is absolutely a red line.
Even if it is made up of daytime work plus additional hours somewhere else during a day, I think the logistics of the daytime+ work hours works out better for many. And of course, in some cases these are 24/7 3-shift work schedules too.
For the Pike part of this conversation, I'm wondering if the state would pursue funding in the new federal infra bill as the turnpike extension was (?is?) an example of freeways being run pretty rough-shod through a neighborhood. Perhaps, the idea being to pursue a new pike interchange as...
Along the river, I'd push them to go further to protect the recreational users of the PDW path and consider a undercrossing of North Beacon in all the versions.
I do like roundabouts because are very much able to absorb vehicle flows, but, i wonder if this is a location where they could...
My take on it is that they started the shutdown of the GL to Lechmere in May 2020 not knowing if they'd be able to make their schedule of spring 2021 given the corona pandemic. I'd hope they update all their materials soon though, now that they updated the board
I saw earlier tonight some reporting that indicated Pelosi wants much more funding in the House bill of this plan than even the White House's $2 billion. And Schumer apparently wanting to go along. If they go the reconciliation route, there's even more funding potentially there.
Of course...
