I really hope that the Red Line gets extended to Arlington sooner rather than later. That being said, the decision to oppose a Red Line extension in the '70s by Arlington residents and pols was such a narrow-minded, short-sighted thing to do.

I'd be very surprised to see a reconstruction of the 146/90 interchange anytime soon. 146/90 is the newest interchange on the Pike, built between 1996 and 1999. MassDOT probably won't be interested in replacing an interchange that was built (relatively) recently.

Light Rail in the Providence metro area would be amazing. I really hope this ends up happening as LRT instead of BRT.
