City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

I hear your points. I’m actually trying to argue that it’s the open space that is indeed the asset. People do pass through, but in my experience it’s a pleasurable pass through because it’s open and presents so many amazing views of the city. You won’t get that if you fill it up with more...

Boynton Gateway | 495 Columbia Street | Somerville

The building looks huge (and very horizontal) from its convex side (like in the post above), whereas from the side view it’s at least more broken up and variated looking. Strange looking in fact from the adjacent neighborhood. Might also be the last two metal fab shops left in the area…

Porter Square Infill and Small Developments

Is the dry wall new??! I’ll take anything. At least the building is next to trains. It’s going to have some great views of Somerville and Boston too…

City Hall Plaza Revamp | Government Center

Yeah, but here’s the thing - I’m not hearing much counter argument to anything I wrote or even documented with photo evidence . So like… ? Again, I’ll further challenge you to personally say how much you actually use the space and a frequent basis. Or do you just draw colored pictures on top of...

Even the foundation of this building is high-tech.

Were these memorials/monuments here at the old building too? Either way, they look great (and quirky - I think that’s someone’s bedroom windows behind them) out front of this building . Also that’s a super cool dump truck.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Gotta love how our little community spans the human experience here in Boston. ;)

Suit your fancy for $1.475? Actually, an offer is already on the table…

Harvard Square Infill and Small Developments

(Don’t know what thread to add this to) I’m pretty sure the Harvard Hilles library (formerly Radcliffe) could sue Tesla for trademark infringement … ;)

Cambria Hotel | 515 Somerville Ave | Union Sq | Somerville

Josephine’s sign is nice and subtle . Also some cool mural happening. Picasso?

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

Ever walked this yourself?? It’s kind of actually the opposite of your description! It’s so darn pedestrian friendly. The reason I know this is because I walk like 6 miles a day. So like… don’t compare this to Waltham.

    Cambridge Crossing (NorthPoint) | East Cambridge/Charlestown | Cambridge/Boston

Nice write-up! (And I happen to agree with the praise). Great interviews with some of the architects and planners… https://www.bostonglobe.com/2023/05/11/arts/cambridge-crossing-arrives/
