Back Bay Garage Tower | Dartmouth and Stuart | Back Bay

    Is this garage still open?

    "Dirty Old Boston"

With CRE the way it is, I don't get why the owners of this building wouldn't wanna capitalize on having the observation deck back as a major tourist attraction and making money on this. Seems like a no-brainer.

On The Dot | 505 Dorchester Avenue | South Boston

Feel like the lab/commercial component should be flipped for the residential here given the waning demand for office space.

Reserved Channel Development | 300 West First Street | South Boston

Crazy that there is still much land available to develop in this part of Boston. Hopefully the developers and the city don't squander these opportunities to make a sizeable dent in the housing issue.

Dorchester Bay City (nee Bayside Expo Ctr.) | Columbia Point

In the renders the Columbia rotary is gone. Is that part of the plan? Also, what's the over under on how many of these buildings get started in the next 5 years?

Shreve, Crump & Low Redevelopment | 334-364 Boylston Street | Back Bay

A tall tower with an observation deck would've been iconic for this location. But alas this is Boston and the shadow police would fight it in full force...

    The New Retail Thread

They had a thing for Haymarket. They also liked coming to the city for the halal butchers and fish mongers.

    Revere Infill and Small Developments

It would be great if Revere beach or Nantasket beach brought back a roller coaster. Feel like it would help Revere beach/Nantasket to their glory days and help make them both destinations. Not sure if there's an appetite for that given all of the "higher" end places going in at Revere.

    The New Retail Thread

I know you said its an unpopular opinion, but a lot folks depend on Haymarket for affordable fresh produce. My parents would drive from Burlington every Saturday and Sunday just to stock up for the week. While Haymarket can be unsightly to look at, it's a one of the few things that remain from...

Iron Works | 323-365 Dorchester Ave | South Boston

Build this all now. Are there any plans for that red triangle looking building pictured in the second render? Seems like it's an underutilized space.

    Channelside (née P&G) | 244-248 A Street | Fort Point

Hope they put in a decent amount of ground level retail in these buildings instead of just lobbies. Would be great to have that part of fort point channel have a nice little cluster of restaurants and shops rather than the dead zone it is today.

    🔹 What's Happening With Project X?

With Baker gone, any possibility of Healey and her administration repealing the ridiculous shadow law? Feel like that's a huge hinderance on housing development in Boston as a whole that is just another asinine Massachusetts thing. Take a look at NYC. Central park south has super talls and the...

One Mystic | 1 Mystic Avenue | Charlestown

Agreed. Let's build this now. If they can also create some plans remove all of those industrial buildings behind this and build more residential Sullivan square will no longer feel like no mans land.
