Time & Temp Building / Brown St. Parking Garage Redevelopment | Portland

My apology, it was meant as humor and I made sure the photo did not show the license plate. The post has been deleted out of respect for you and the vehicle owner. Categorizing the Portland Police Department as violent is unnecessary on your end even if you are not joking. I agree with your...

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Were there any updated renderings of the expansion in the planning board package? Do you mean the available cities served by Breeze out of Portland or are they pulling out of White Plains? If they are dropping HPN out of Portland no big loss and they will find another destination in the future.

Infill and Small Developments | Portland

Thanks PWMFlyer, the expansion of the Portland Harbor Hotel into 245 Commercial Street is a surprise and that address appears to be three separate buildings from the street level. Hopefully those vacant parking lots across from the arena will get developed in the future. This photo shows when...

Anyone know what is going on with the Congress Square makeover?

The Casco | 201 Federal Street | Portland

The design is great but it should be two feet larger in size and "THE" needs to be a darker color because it is barely noticeable. I also think that the silver exterior cladding of the penthouse (which I like) is too close in color to the sign to provide enough contrast visually so maybe mount...

    Portland Square Redevelopment | Portland

Could be a complete exterior cleaning seeing the building is well over 30 years old and I don't remember it ever being done.

    Portland Square Redevelopment | Portland

No news but a nice perspective of Portland Square from late 2022 with "The Casco" just about topped out. Could the TD Bank signage be any smaller? I never realized there was an outdoor patio on the 6th floor of 2PS? LoopNet photo

Canal Plaza Renovations and Development | Portland

Canal Plaza from above. This was an impressive development back in the 70's when you consider that the three buildings have a combined 20 floors of office and retail space. The mechanical crown on 3 Canal Plaza could use a fresh coat of paint! LoopNet photo

Portland, ME - The Existing Environment

Ah, the new graffiti on the upper levels is so classy looking and really warms my heart!

Actually, the FIS facility will take up a considerable chunk of the area you are referring to Mark and the goal is to make it more transit friendly and hopefully lose the corridor to nowhere vibe.

A Corey Templeton classic from 11 years ago that I found in my archives. Not sure of the band but it was not the Barenaked Ladies. Corey?

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

Nice effort PWMFlyer! I do think we will see PWM's enplanements peak for this calendar year and should level off in the future until an FIS facility gets built which will hopefully lead to a few international flights. Our route map from Portland is just about maxed out with the exception of...

    Portland International Jetport | PWM

July enplanements out today and we have an all time monthly record! PWM is now 98,766 passengers ahead of last year's record breaking pace. :)

    Historic Portland Discussion

Portland has surely lost a few landmark buildings to urban renewal and parts of some neighborhoods have been eliminated due to the construction of Interstate 295, Spring Street and the Franklin Arterial. There are few other smaller examples but overall Portland escaped the massive demolition...

    Portland Passenger Rail

I have a feeling that the passenger waiting area will exceed 750 SF once the plans are finalized especially if the stakeholders read all of the posts on here and the Portland Press Herald. Is it even possible to build a train station that is not much larger than some of the tiny houses that...

    Portland Passenger Rail

I have no issue with the chosen location and a majority of comments during the selection process preferred site 3. However, 750 SF for the passenger waiting area is a joke and it needs to be expanded to minimum of 2,000 SF in my opinion.
