    Crazy Transit Pitches

Personally, I'd prioritize Arsenal over Brighton on your way to Watertown Square (and then possibly to Waltham or Newton Corner). If we're doing crayon maps, let Brighton be served by one of the light rail lines.

But less colorful than it would have if Aer Lingus hadn't done the stupid white livery... sigh...

I suspect the whole district was created expressly to forbid it. Chiofaro hasn't made a lot of friends and the Harbor Towers residents are probably generous donors.

I'd think you'd want the stop in South Weymouth more than a stop along the highway. Generally I think you want to follow rail lines that hit town centers.

I know that and I thought about looking that up, but it's worth noting that primary wind alignments at Logan might not be the same as inland. The runway alignment I used perfectly aligns with one of the primary runways at the old NAS. Presumably they chose the prevailing direction at the time...

Not endorsing that this should have happened (and definitely not that it should happen now), but what if the Commonwealth had pushed for a new airport at the South Weymouth NAS... Based on AUS - both runways are a bit over 10,000'. The biggest difference from AUS, of course, is that Bergstrom...

I-90 Interchange Improvement Project & West Station | Allston

Even if you did that, you'd still have the need for financing to construct anything. The strip mall is already there and already generating revenue. Also, the CRE firms that specialize in strip malls tend to be specialized in that market segment, so a developer of dense mixed-use would need to...

    Dedham Developments

I don't think Dedham is any more pro-transit now, so I'm not sure there has ever been or would ever have been a chance to extend the Orange Line there other than the BERy Map. Plus, I'm not sure a VFW Parkway park-and-ride serves Dedham that much worse than a terminus closer to Dedham Center...

Simmons University Living and Learning Center | 300 Fenway | Longwood

I love the idea that people will just be sitting in the bleachers in business attire with their iPads watching random people swim or shoot hoops. Kind of creepy, actually.
