    MBTA Buses & Infrastructure

I lived in Oak Square years ago. Thankfully, my job was in Watertown Square. However, hanging out with friends north of the river was an exercise in transit frustration. It was routinely faster for me to walk to Harvard Sq, via Greenough Blvd, than to take the T there. Setting the fare zones...

MXD Residential Tower | 121 Broadway | Kendall Square

Seeing the rapid progress on this site makes the slow-walking of so many other developments in Cambridge (e.g. the affordable housing on Mass Ave at Darul Kebab) just that much more frustrating.

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

Slightly more on-topic: I’m curious about the mobile generator at the Medford St substation. It’s tucked behind a bit of temporary fencing in the driveway, which only adds to the temporary feel. Why is it there? Did the design not account for proper backup power?

    35 Electric Avenue | Brighton

It’s the right thing to do and located adjacent to a substation. The DBA name makes me laugh. Someone on the team grew up in the 1980s.

They need to figure out a plan to convert the transferable licenses into non-transferable.

This is the fallout of Baker’s appointees sandbagging two different contracts for the T.
