Photo of the Day, Boston Style: Part XV (2021)

Yes! The bridge shown is the Boylston Street Bridge, designed by one H. H. Richardson. A truly beautiful structure IMO!

Hard to find the exact angle as your (beautiful!) photo below, @BeeLine, but... dang:

Bay Village Apartment Tower | 212 Stuart St. | Bay Village

Walked by this a couple of weeks ago at the right time--I have to believe this wonderful pattern of light and shadow was the architects' vision when designing the façade. It's great to look at, but not sure if it's worthwhile when it seems this quality of light only occurs briefly each day, if...

Did some digging with the clues provided and I am fairly sure you were at South Uncanoonuc Mountain in Goffstown.

    kz's Wanderings Around Greater Boston

Oh, that hurts my heart! Abraham's bagels are my very, very favorite--perhaps it's hometown bias, but to each their own. I'm back home about once a month, so this list is reasonably reflective of current quality, IMO: Angie's is a good stop if you want an authentic, old-timey diner experience...

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

From yesterday morning. This is easily my favorite highrise built in the city in the decade I’ve lived here. It is dynamic both in form and facade. I’ll try and upload a video of clouds moving across the glass later. It’s really something.

The interior will brighten a bit as it's fitted out; but yeah... that's some soul-sucking glass.

Kind of like a budget Bjarke Ingels, IMO. I don't hate it.

Given that Panera Bread owns ABP and has a majority stake in Tatte, this is not at all surprising.

East Boston Infill and Small Developments

Some of these one-story commercial buildings were once two or three-story structures with retail below and residential up top. High property tax rates in the 50s/60s/70s led to owners demolishing the upper levels to save on taxes. These single-level buildings actually do have the foundations to...

Green Line Extension to Medford & Union Sq

FWIW, the full-depth reconstruction was only on the South Huntington portion of the line, between Riverway and Heath. I walk past the Brigham-Riverway section multiple times a week and it is in dire shape, IMO. I hope and expect that the closure would focus on replacing that portion of the line.

Wow! The lamp posts and archways don't appear to be perfect replicas of the originals (seen at the center of the photo below), but they add a lot. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3c/East_Cambridge_Bridge%2C_1910s.jpg
