Potential Soccer Stadium | Portland peninsula

It's literally a dream project for me - we banter about it all the time. I'm the only one that really wants to do it which is why I would literally need a big winning lottery ticket - would require a lot of cash and likely not get any return for a long time. But OMG!!! It could be AMAZING...

If I could buy the entire Maine Mall parcel and completely re-work it I 10000% would - would build a stadium there. Re-design the roads with South Portland. I would need to win the lottery though! One of the reasons I buy tix! ~ C

We can do another tour but need to do it in February as Landry French is pushing really hard right now....Pocket park is coming along. I think we have a final plan - just waiting on the photometrics. It won't be actually built until late spring/early summer. ~ C

The Casco | 201 Federal Street | Portland

They were fabricated and scheduled for install. Can’t decide if we should try to salvage with “The Casco” because we can use same branding. Had it done. Looks good. It’s still in the spirit of Aucocisco meaning its homage to the physical place rather than a person or the history. Or just bail...

Thank you for the support everyone. I really appreciate it. Blew Reddit off my phone. Was thinking about it when I read comments trashing those boys that spoke about the soccer club so easy decision. It’s not healthy. Will keep you posted on the name. ~ C

The Casco | 201 Federal Street | Portland

We heard from a Councilor - renaming the building. Jonathan wrote a response on Reddit if anyone is interested. Still feel good about what we did and the intent - it's a shame that this is the response. ~ C

Yes - I've seen the Twitter posts too. I know the process we went through with Dr. Darren Ranco....no shame in our game. Put his opinion over those of people angry with developers. ~ C

We would 100% still be open. Friends of Casco Bay killed it. Not sure we could overcome that kind of resistance unless we had some real supporters and unwavering support of the City. ~ C
