haha no worries. I don't know if you have an xbox or not, but a couple of years ago they remastered perfect dark for the xbox, and it was GREAT. my xbox crapped out on me a few years ago, but i kind of want a new one mostly to play perfect dark...
There is an old portal next to the red line yard on Foundry St that was for the street cars. Two or three years ago they converted it into their emergency training facility, with a Blue Line car (i think) inside it. I think the tunnel to Broadway and a little beyond is still largely extant...
The Pru Tree House pop up is a disaster. I tried to go a couple weeks ago, and I would have been able to drive to the brewery, picked up a four pack, and drank one at home on my couch before I got a beer at the pop up.
The line just to get in was ridiculous and then there was an even longer...
dD, I've been reading this board nearly daily for a real long time now, and I JUST put together that your handle is a perfect dark reference. What an amazing game.
Punter's absolutely was great. Once the pizza hole closed, I knew they weren't long for the world.
I graduated from NU a few years ago. It absolutely was NOT considered far worse than Conor's. Groups either naturally went to the dive-ier Punter's or the more bro-ey Conor's. Maybe while you were...
Is the curve in Western Ave going to be permanent, or will the road be straightened once they don't need the staging area anymore? I bike down Western from Central semi-frequently and it's so much nicer with that curve than it was as a straight-as-an-arrow raceway.
I rode down Boylston this morning between Mass Ave and Ring after it was set up for the parade, and boy was it nice being on a two lane road rather than the four+ clusterfutz it is usually. When is the city actually going to do something about Boylston?
That's awesome, and way better than Cambridge's IF it actually keeps a running tally. I ride by this corner every day to and from work and can't wait to add to the count.
The picture you posted is down, but I hope they got a counter with the right scale. The one on Broadway in Cambridge is so frustrating. It looks like few bikes go by a day, but the scale is really for monthly? ridership!
Re: 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District
The worst case scenario for the Common shows Net-New shadow for 1 hour, from ~7:30AM to 8:30AM and for the Garden it's even less net-new shadow from like 7:10AM to 7:30AM.
THAT IS WAY TOO MUCH SHADOW

It potentially may end up in Smith Playground in Allston. I'm invested in getting a new/second roller hockey court there during the upcoming redevelopment and the statue came up during on the of the community meetings. I believe it's been donated to Boston for public art, and if the LA/Brighton...
Removing cars from Centre Street sounds like a great idea, but in practice probably would not be. Here's an article from the Boston Globe about DX and how removing car traffic may not have been the best idea
Would car traffic bring back the crowds?
