    It is a bummer they aren't preserving *any* of the smoke stacks. While I'm sure it would have been more structurally challenging, it would have been a nice nod to the plant's history to have preserved the older, yellow-brick smoke stack.

    That's a good analogy. It does remind me a bit of Glattpark in Zurich's Oerlikon neighborhood, where I spent a number of months. New buildings, contemporary architecture, (short) towers in the park ... but also not a terrible place.
