My most irritating pet peeve is that even newspapers are costing way too much these days!! Buying the newspaper 7 days a week can add up. On Sundays, they are nearly double the costs.

And usually, the same story appears on other reliable resources, so they can be read fully & there's no charge to read them. It's not the money, which cost very little to pay, it the principle of the thing; Everyone seems to be looking to "nickel & dime" online readers just to be able to read...

So will Bowden Station still be used for this purpose, and will it be renamed Gov't Center? And does it mean that the Blue Line would be extened close enough for passengers to be able to be on a short walk to the Blue Line, instead of walking up the street to Bowden Station? While they're at it...

I strictly blame the MBTA for this, mainly because they are so damn cheap & penny-pinching to the point where corners are being cut by the co's responsible for such construction programs! And they are not even watching the work as it progresses!! Then WHO pays for this crappy work? The commuters...

Because reading stories from newspaper cos online used to be for free, & now they are penny-pinching to the point that they even want money from those whose desire is to read stories online & not be forced to sign up for a subscription online!! If you are buying the newspaper, that's one thing. (n)

Ah-hah!!! Found it anyway. The GLX is reportedly STILL having some serious problems on the line!!! According to GM Phillip Eng, there are problems on the line that still need immediate & swift action to be corrected & he is holding the cos that helped build it accountable. Good job, Philip...

I frigging HATE this crap!!! Boston Globe BLOCKS every story they post because they want people to frigging PAY & subscribe to them just to be able to read it!!! That is so childish & immature!!!! :mad:

I was questioning the time phase of that, but in reality, it probably IS true, since we never got all of the new cars made yet because there were countless & needless delays all the time. One thing after the other. Then, we finally learned why the T kept on pulling the trains out of service...

Not totally sure if the Hynes Station has any slightly raised platforms yet, but I think that they WILL get them soon, since they ARE booked for a complete redo of the station. :)

I think that it would be better for the trains to have short extending ramps that would come out onto the platforms when the doors open, then retract back into their bodies when the doors close. Like the automatically extending stairs on the new Amtrak Airo passenger cars when put into service...

Wynn is not in control anymore. A scandal has put him out of business.

Especially since they haven't had a mid-life redo!! Anyone who has ridden in one of these would know that the lighting has gone somewhat dimmed & that they are in dire need of a redo, but I guess that the T more than likely won't spend the dough for them, so I think that they are just keeping...

Just read this article & it said that they WILL make a life-size mock-up for all to see and try out to get thoughts & opinions on it!!! Hopefully, it will be on display at City Hall Plaza where the new Red & Orange Line mock-up cars were on display. :)...

The tower crane on the right is quite similar to the one that was used to help build the Brookliner!!! :)
