Winthrop Center | 115 Winthrop Square | Financial District

Seems like just yesterday this was just a site with some dirt moved around, a few pipes strewn about, an excavator sitting idle and every now and then someone would post the big news of a few construction workers doing something in spite of the pandemic. And now they've already poured what...

Raffles Boston (40 Trinity Place) | 426 Stuart Street | Back Bay

This is gonna be a great addition for the Back Bay, which I hope gains more density through more buildings in the 300-500 foot range.

Logan Airport Flights and Airlines Discussion

Jet Blue would need some wide body jets if they start flying to London from BOS, JFK, MIA. Six and a half hours in a cramped single aisle would be shitty.

[CANCELED] 1000 Boylston Street | MassDOT Parcel 15 | Back Bay

Also Chicago...Willis tower is at the southwest corner of their Downtown core. There's only one building taller than 600 feet anywhere near it, and its a 900 footer that looks like 111 Huntington sittting next to the Pru and 1 Dalton, relatively speaking.

    How does Boston's urbanism compare?

Out of that list of cities, only DC, Phoenix, and possibly Montreal are of a similar overall stature as Boston in terms of size, importance. The cities that Boston *should* be compared to are Philly, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Dallas. In that sense we're on par or ahead of...

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

4 years for the completion of a tower is not that bad. In the meantime Winthrop Square and One Congress will most likely be completed giving the city 3 new 600' plus towers.

South Station Tower | South Station Air Rights | Downtown

Is this the beginning of the actual tower, or is it some side project connected to SST?

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

Overall this is a good addition to the West End skyline, IMO. I know some people think this building looks too plain, but I like it.

The Alcott (née Garden Garage Towers) | 35 Lomasney Way | West End

^You know if One Congress was half the width, it would appear to be taller than it is. Some many buildings seem to be a lot shorter than they are due to their girth for lack of a better word, lol. 200 Clarendon is like that as well but I guess office buildings you need as much floor space as you...

State Street HQ | One Congress | Bulfinch Crossing | West End

^From this angle, it really looks like the downtown skyline has a lot of gaps. Obviously Winthrop Center will kinda plug a hole as would SST. The opposite angle from Eastie/Logan across the harbor always presents a much "denser" filled out skyline.
